Newsletter Committee

The Newsletter Committee is charged with communicating information concerning the Chapter's activities to the membership, including the periodic publication of the Chapter newsletter (Bylaws Art. VI, Sec. ld)  The newsletter editor serves as chair of the Committee. 

Duties

  •  Publishes the newsletter in a timely manner.
  • Submits an annual budget and publishing schedule to the Executive Board for its approval.
  • Mails the newsletter to every Chapter member, all other AALL Chapter Newsletter Editors, the AALL Executive Board, and to those other individuals or organizations, as designated by the Executive Board.
  • Accepts advertisements for publication in the newsletter, in compliance with guidelines set by the Executive Board.
  • Routes copies of other chapter newsletters to the President.

Members

Policies

Publications Policy.  All members shall receive the Chapter's publications as part of their membership. (Bylaws Art. V, Sec. 4d)  Copies may be distributed free of charge, as directed by the Executive Board.

Newsletter Frequency.  The newsletter shall be published three times per year with winter, spring, and fall issues.

Newsletter Publishing Schedule.  The annual publishing schedule shall be set to facilitate the timely publication of required notices to the membership.
