We are looking for a full-time Legal Reference Librarian to join our team. Do you want to use your legal or library background to empower others with access to legal information? The San Diego Law Library is open to the public and is dedicated to providing access to justice for all. JOB SUMMARY:
Provides excellent reference and circulation services to library patrons. Promotes the library, its activities, and resources using a variety of tools and techniques. Instructs library staff and patrons about library resources and services. Creates legal information content in a variety of formats. Drives change throughout the library by leading and participating in special project teams. Will provide services at our Downtown and partnership locations, as needed.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
The beginning salary range for this Reference Librarian position is $74,000 to $85,000 and is commensurate with experience.
Benefits include CalPERS retirement system, 457(b) deferred compensation plan, choice of several medical, dental, and vision plans, Flexible Spending Account, public transportation/parking allowance, opportunity to attend professional continuing education training/conferences, and paid holidays. For full-time employees working a 40-hour work week and employed less than 5 years, vacation is accrued at 4.62 hours per pay period (15 days annually) and sick leave is accrued at 4.00 hours per pay period (13 days annually).
